LIFX, Control the lighting in your house with an app

What is it?
LIFX is a LED light which you can control with your smartphone. It has a few cool functions. The lamp doesn’t use much energy and the lifespan of the light is 25 years.
It is plug and play: put the lightbulb in, install the app on your smartphone and connect to wifi. So easy!
It works on Android as well on iOS.
The app gives you the possibility, for example, to change the color slowly. It’s useful when you have to wake up. But it’s also useful when you go to bed.
Automatic set in an on/off schedule or mood lighting that matches the beat when you are listening to music. Match your mood or your decor.
The lamp will even flash when you receive a notification on Facebook or on your email.

Why is it cool and why has it future growth potential?
You don’t need electricians and ugly control boxes. According to Phil Bosua, one of the founders from LIFX, it’s time for change. ‘Our need for light, equals about 20 percent power consumption pro household. Worlds first earplugs and mp3- player all in one

What is it?
SPLIT is an mp3- player and also a headset. It doesn’t need a cable. Thanks to the magnets the two earplugs will stick together. When you take them apart the music will start to play. By making a biting movement once the music will go to the next song, by biting twice you will change to volume. You can also lock it by pressing on the right earplug. Otherwise the volume and the music will change constantly when you open your mouth.

 

Why is it cool?
When we are listening to music the cord can really annoy us. They are always entangled, during sports the cable is always in the way and continues to hitch on something. But we also can irritate us on that big mp3- player while playing sports. It’s not comfortable to do exercises with a mp3- player in your pocket or to have it putted on your arm. It will break when you fall. This won’t happen with the Split- earplugs.

Why does it have future growth potential?
They are one of the smallest headphones you can buy. You won’t have annoying cables and it is hands free because of the innovative bite control. People are always looking for something easier and more comfortable.
